Red Sox 2, Rockies 1

Last night’s game was more what I expected from this match-up; I knew the Rockies didn’t suck as badly as they played Wednesday night, and I always enjoy a well-pitched game. It was a real joy to see Curt Schilling get his groove in the 4th inning…let’s hear it for us older guys. And the Rockies were no slouch, either. They were over the jitters of playing in a legend.

I’m still holding to my prediction of the Sox in five — I expect them to drop at least one out in the rarefied air of Denver’s Coors Field — but I’ll let them drop two so they can finish up at home if only so Beantown Girl’s brother can see them win there.
