I may have my fun snarking at David Brooks on a regular basis, but I’ll give him props and chops for sticking with his favorite baseball team, the Mets. As anyone who reads this blog knows, I have stuck with my Tigers despite the fact that I’ve never actually lived in Detroit and I have lived in a number of other major league cities since then, and live in one now.

Some things transcend the differences, and baseball is often one of them.
