I really don’t care that Ann Romney paid almost a thousand bucks for a shirt. Do you?

The only reason I’m even noting it is because it’s really a stupid thing for the media to pay attention to. It’s also a screaming double standard. As Michael notes, men wear suits and shirts that cost as much and no one gives a rat’s ass.

As for the shirt itself, well… if she likes it, let her wear it, giant eagle and all. (It should be noted that I am notoriously fashion unconscious; I buy most of my clothes at the aisle one over from auto parts. Take that, gay cultural stereotype.)

Besides, everyone knows that if you’re going to dish about clothes, you first go for the shoes.
