Papers, Eh?

The Supreme Court knocked down three of four provisions of Arizona’s odious immigration law, including the parts where people could be arrested for having a job without proper permits. However, they left intact — for now — the part that allows the police to demand proof of documentation from people they merely suspect of being undocumented immigrants.

I don’t think they’re going to be pulling over a blond-haired, blue-eyed man from Toronto who has overstayed his tourist visa by five years. Call it a hunch.
