Developing… Florida Leans Obama

This just in:

By Thursday afternoon, the state Division of Elections Web site said Mr. Obama led Mr. Romney 49.9 percent to 49.2 percent, with a difference of about 55,000 votes out of more than eight  million votes cast. Several counties continued to count absentee ballots throughout the day. An official declaration is expected on Friday, and an Obama victory would give him 332 electoral votes to Mr. Romney’s 206.

The Romney campaign announced that the candidate will be making a last-minute stop in Miami to round up undecided votes.  The Republican candidate hopes to garner votes from the reliably Republican voting Cuban-American community.

Oh, wait…

Obama actually won Cuban-Americans who voted on Election Day itself, taking 53 percent of their vote compared to 47 percent for Republican Mitt Romney, who built up a lead among those who cast absentee and early in-person ballots, according to the survey of 4,866 voters conducted by Bendixen & Amandi International.

We’ll keep you posted.

One bark on “Developing… Florida Leans Obama

  1. Must have been a real shock to the rethuglicans, losing two states they had stolen in 2000 and 2004. Turdblossom’s definition of an “hnest” politician: one who stays bought.
