My one-act play Ask Me Anything has been selected for the Shortcuts 3 one-act play festival at the Lake Worth Playhouse, opening in May and set for a run later in the month in Fort Lauderdale.
I wrote the play in about forty minutes for Tina Howe’s master class in playwriting at the 2006 William Inge Theatre Festival. It was performed in the class with a volunteer cast. It was fun then, and I’m sure it will be a great production. It will be directed by Joyce Sweeney, a well-known author and playwright and a driving force behind the Writers Network of South Florida.
The dates of the production are May 4 (evening) and May 5 (matinee) at the theatre in Lake Worth, Florida, with later performance that month in Fort Lauderdale. Ironically, I will be at the William Inge Theatre Festival when it opens, so I’m going to have to wait until the Fort Lauderdale performance to see it.
Wonderful!
This is wonderfully joyful news! Bravo!
Cool! Sure would be fun to go see it. When do you open in MN? 🙂
