If former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is planning on running in 2016, maybe he’d better start by divesting himself of some of the shady people who are using him as a front for their scams. From the Miami Herald:
Claudio Osorio once boasted that he scaled the world’s iconic peaks: Fuji, Kilimanjaro and the Matterhorn.
On Friday, the jet-setting, Venezuelan-born entrepreneur took the steepest fall of his life when he was arrested by the Miami U.S. Attorney’s Office on federal fraud charges. The sweeping indictment, charging him and his business partner, Craig Toll, with 23 counts of fraud and money laundering, probably has left many wondering whether the big-spending millionaire ever climbed anything other than the luxurious cherry staircase in his Star Island mansion.
In a parallel action, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission also charged Osorio with defrauding investors by grossly exaggerating the financial success of his company, and stealing nearly half of the money to pay the mortgage on his $12 multimillion dollar home, his Maserati, a Colorado mountain retreat home and country club dues.
Osorio, 54, built his company, InnoVida, in 2005, selling it to investors as a cutting-edge producer of fiber-composite panels, which interlocked similar to Legos, and could produce affordable housing and post-disaster shelter in places like New Orleans, Haiti and developing countries overseas. His business model involved forming joint ventures in Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Chris Korge, a shrewd Miami developer and lawyer, said Osorio assured him that his company had about $40 million in cash and a lucrative deal with Middle Eastern investors to purchase $500 million in company stock. Korge invested $4 million before he began to suspect that something didn’t add up.
“Jeb Bush was on the board, there were a lot of successful people convincing me. We went out and we met and I just began to realize that the cost-effectiveness of building with the materials would never work,’’ Korge said. By that time, however, it was too late.
Creditors were already knocking on Osorio’s door, including the Swiss government, which claimed he owed $220 million in loans from Swiss banks that he obtained by lying about the soundness of his previous business venture, Miami-based CHS Electronics. That company went bankrupt in 2000.
No one is suggesting that Mr. Bush knew anything about the scam, nor is he named in any of the suits filed by duped investors. But it makes you wonder who told him it would be a good idea to be connected with this guy. After all, if you’re going to get hooked up with scammers, why not go with the proven models?
Here’s my way of looking at this. There was Neil Bush and his connection to Silverado Banking in Colorado. Then there was Bush 43 ( the idiot, wait, that guy would need two promotions to be an idiot) and his connection to Ken Lay who mysteriously died at his Colorado digs. And now we have Jeb Bush connected to another sleaze who has connections to Colorado. Does something sound fishy here?
And wasn’t Prescott Bush involved in shady deals in the 1930’s-1940’s? Must be a family tradition…
Yes Prescott Bush, Jeb’s paternal grandfather, had a bank he was a director of, Union Banking Corporation, closed by the US government in 1942 for get this;
Being controlled by one of Nazi Germany’s financiers, German steel magnate Fritz Thyssen …… in October 1942 the United States seized the bank under the Trading with the Enemy Act and held the assets for the duration of World War II.
“On October 20, 1942, the US Alien Property Custodian, under the “Trading With the Enemy Act,” seized the shares of the Union Banking Corporation (UBC), of which Prescott Bush was a director and shareholder. The largest shareholder was E. Roland Harriman. (Bush was also the managing partner of Brown Brothers Harriman, a leading Wall Street investment firm.)
“The UBC was established to send American capital to Germany to finance the reorganization of its industry under the Nazis. Their leading German partner was the notorious Nazi industrialist Fritz Thyssen, who wrote a book admitting much of this called “I Paid Hitler.”
“Among the companies financed was the Silesian-American Corporation, which was also managed by Prescott Bush, and by his father-in-law George Herbert Walker, who supplied Dub-a-Ya with his name. The company was vital in supplying coal to the Nazi war industry. It too was seized as a Nazi-front on November 17, 1942. The largest company Bush’s UBC helped finance was the German Steel Trust, responsible for between one-third and one-half of Nazi iron and explosives.
“Prescott Bush was also a director of the Harriman Fifteen Corporation, (this one owned largely by Roland’s brother, Averell Harriman), which owned about a third of the Consolidated Silesian Steel Corporation, the rest owned by Friedrich Flick, (a member of Himmler’s “Circle of Friends” who donated to the S.S.).”
Jeb’s great grandfather George Walker was also in on the act, as the two grandfathers were in several business ventures together;
“George Walker, GW’s great-grandfather, also set up the takeover of the Hamburg-America Line, a cover for I.G. Farben’s Nazi espionage unit in the United States. In Germany, I.G. Farben was most famous for putting the gas in gas chambers; it was the producer of Zyklon B and other gasses used on victims of the Holocaust. The Bush family was not unaware of the nature of their investment partners. They hired Allen Dulles, the future head of the CIA, to hide the funds they were making from Nazi investments and the funds they were sending to Nazi Germany, rather than divest.”
BTW Allen Dulles as head of the CIA and his brother John Foster Dulles, who was the Secretary of State during the Eisenhower Administration, got the US to overthrow a duly elected government, in Operation Ajax, the covert operation that led to the removal of Mohammad Mossadeq, prime minister of Iran, and his replacement with Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, Shah of Iran. leading to the 1979 fiasco, and of course set up the Deim regium in Vietnam and started the war (unacknowledged at the time) against Ho and the North.
Google Col Edward Lansdale for how Dulles had Lansdale a CIA operative rat fuck North Vietnam in 54-56 which lead directly to the Vietnam war. The Bush Family and their accomplices has had their hand in fucking up American foreign policy long before w screwed the pooch totally in Iraq.

Prescott’s shady dealings was being the American bag-man for Nazi Germany. And he had assets seized by our government under the “trading with the enemy act “.Ahh the gliry days when we had a functioning government that prosecuted assholses like that
