One bark on “The Gaggle

  1. Tell me about it. Our Canada geese no longer fly south. They stick around here and multiply, pooping all over the place and crying love songs as they fly from river to cornfield and back. “Golf course geese” have habituated to cold weather and when the river is frozen over they hunker down and wait it out. We’re finding robins do the same now. The sign of a robin is not necessarily a sign of spring. What they eat I have no idea since they are primarily meat eaters. Curiouser and curiouser.
