  1. Re: the Nazi commander. We’re fascinated by this up here in MN. He lives in a neighborhood heavily populated by Ukrainians. Wonder what they think?

  2. Another interesting tidbit for today: This is the 798th anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta. As the “germ cell” of our Constitution, we should pay tribute to this document. Even way back in 1215, people wanted government held accountable. It was a major influence on Thomas Jefferson’s thinking.
