Thursday Night in the Park

We — Bob, the Old Professor, and lots of friends — had a great time last night at the fireworks at the Biltmore in Coral Gables celebrating the 4th of July with good food and drink, lots of music (although I wonder whose idea it was to include “O Fortuna” by Carl Orff as a part of the program) and great fireworks… that ended in a downpour.

But we still had fun.

I hope you did too.

3 barks and woofs on “Thursday Night in the Park

  1. Julie, we used to tell my college chorus director that we would open the movement, “O… For Tuna, Char…lie Tuna,” but he in turn threatened to invent a grade lower than “F” for us if we did that in performance, and it never happened.

BTW, Bobby, you need to work on your dog’s German diction… it’s “Orff” not “Orf”.
