Today marks the eleventh anniversary of this little blog. It all started here when I had no idea what I was doing, what I was in for, or how long I’d be doing it. Frankly I surprised myself when I made it to six months.
Now here we are, some 22,000-plus posts later and sometimes I still feel like I’m just trying to avoid bumping into the furniture. But I’m very glad I’ve kept at it. I’ve met some really great people, learned so much, and found out how much I still have to learn, and what I said a year ago on the tenth anniversary still goes: thank you. I appreciate you more than you know, and as Bilbo Baggins famously said, “I don’t know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.”
What’s next?
And here’s to you, Bobby – happy blogiversary! I’m so glad you’re one of the long-standing bloggers I’ve actually met!!
I can’t tell you how much I enjoy visiting your blog. Thank you and best wishes to you!
my mornings wouldn’t be the same with out your writing. Thanks for keeping on keeping on!
Congratulations on the milestone. I hope to continue stopping in here for quite some time.
Congratulations! I still have a blog, but I hardly ever post there lately.
Thank you for providing thoughtful commentary, jokes, and a little night music. This is the first place I visit when I get up in the morning (well, after checking the weather forecast and emails) Looking forward to another year of BBWW…there’ll be plenty to write about!
The sanity is appreciated every day. Please continue.
Thank you for calling BS on the BS for so long. I have no clue as to how you can maintain your sanity in the face of absolute nonsense, but thanks for posting sane commentary.
That’s 77 in “blog years.” Anyways, keep on keepin’ on!
