Oh Really?

Speaker Paul Ryan denounced Donald Trump’s dalliance with the KKK endorsement by proclaiming that there’s no room in the GOP for prejudice.

Apparently he wasn’t kidding.

“This party does not prey on people’s prejudices. We appeal to their highest ideals, this is the party of Lincoln. We believe all people are created equal in the eyes of God and our government,” Ryan added. “This is fundamental and if someone wants to be our nominee, they have to understand this.”

That’s true; as long as you’re white, Christian, straight, not an immigrant, not pregnant, and not poor, there’s plenty of room for you in the Republican party.

3 barks and woofs on “Oh Really?

  1. You’ll note Ryan denounced the KKK, but he didn’t mention Trump as “unfit for the office of President” * as a result of the hate group’s endorsement of him and his refusal to renounce them.

    * That was Scarborough who is already looking uncomfortable when someone such as DeBlasio praises him for being reasonable.
