Well, Snowball would disagree that he’s not Real. He may be old (52) but he’s as real as he can be. Seriously, though, while I would like to have a pet, my landlord wants a hefty hike in the security deposit ($500), and I have some antique furniture that screams “SCRATCHING POST!” to cats. But thanks.
Thnks, Bobby. I understand. We have 2 “recliner” SCRATCHING POSTS ourselves. As for the deposit, we got a letter from our dr. saying our cat is a “companion pet” so the landlords have waived deposits/mo. rent. Don’t know if that would work for you, but………………..
