There is an early voting station at the Arsht Performing Arts Center in downtown Miami, which is across the street from the office. I walked over at 10 a.m., got my ballot (five pages, mostly Village of Palmetto Bay charter amendments), and exercised my franchise. I was back at my desk at 10:25.
Mailed mine off over a week ago – now I wish there was some sort of filter to block or mute the political ads, since I can’t be swayed in my choices. The ones that McCain (and his allies) are particularly annoying, since I knew I wouldn’t vote him as dogcatcher for over a decade. Time to pick up some popcorn, and see how the show ends.
