Pence v. Kaine: Nothing Ventured, Nothing Sprained

I watched about 45 minutes of the vice presidential debate and then turned it off.  It was both messy and boring; neither of them seemed to be dominating, and they were doing mainly campaign talking points.  It was kind of interesting to see Mike Pence deny a lot of things that Donald Trump has said and is on tape, but that’s what you expect.

Josh Marshall has a good wrap-up.

2 barks and woofs on “Pence v. Kaine: Nothing Ventured, Nothing Sprained

  1. Must repeat the tweet from a guy in Arlington VA: “Second debate in a row where Trump can complain of a Mike that wasn’t working for him.”

    heh . .

  2. I only heard/saw the 2nd half (or most of it) and didn’t think Kaine was as effective at landing punches as Clinton. Pence came off as more presidential than Trump, although that’s not saying much. And ditto about his dodging questions about things Trump has said.
