What Do They Know?

It’s a pretty sure thing that if the CIA is going to conclude that they have evidence that Russia interfered with the election, there’s plenty more where that came from and they are holding back much more than they’re saying now.

Which means that they are very sure they have the goods on the whole story: who, what, where, and when.  And it could also mean they’re sending a not-so-subtle message to the incoming Trump administration not to mess with them: a leak here, a leak there, and the whole House of Cards comes tumbling down.

One bark on “What Do They Know?

  1. The man piddling in Trump’s ear, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, has a fight going with the CIA that could make the new President’s life very uncomfortable. This is an organization that can rip the administration to shreds should it so choose. This is also an organization that has a wall of photographs of operatives who have given their lives for their country, something Trump knows nothing about. His blithe dismissal of the daily briefings shows how shallow an understanding he has for all international issues and so he depends on the advice of someone like Flynn who’s doing him no good.
