One bark on “A Little Night Music

  1. When I was about six I really really badly wanted a phonograph. For my “big” Christmas present for which I’d waited all that morning until we drove to my Grandparents house where the Important presents were given, my dream came true. Indeed, I got my phonograph (but it was a manually driven wind-up – bummer). It was then I became aware that some Grandparents were clueless. However, along with it came some records and one was The Teddy Bears Picnic. It must have been a classic by then, because if it had been released in ’32 and this was ’35 I suspect my cheapo Grandmother got it in the “seconds” bin. Sigh.
