I’ve done a little re-arranging over on the sidebar; adding some links including CBC News, the Christian Science Monitor, Arts & Letters Daily, and the Detroit Free Press (with baseball season approaching, I need my daily humiliation of reading about the Tigers), and a small collection of my favorite comic strips.
I’ve also added links to some radio stations that stream their signals over the web, including Interlochen Public Radio from Interlochen, Michigan. It’s the station for the Interlochen Center for the Arts, one of the best high schools for performing arts in the world. I have listened to their station for years as well as underwritten their programming (still do, as a matter of fact). The music is classical, and they also have their local weather forecasts, which makes it fun to listen to blizzard warnings while I’m at work in my office in Miami (neener, neener!) Speaking of Miami, I’ve added the link to WLRN, the public radio and television service of Miami-Dade County Public Schools. The radio station streams the news side of NPR during the day, then has jazz from 8 until midnight, and then a wonderful overnight program, Sounds of the Caribbean, with reggae, calypso, and all the other good music from that part of the world.
Just part of the service that you can count on from Bark Bark Woof Woof, doing our best to be your Blog Of Choice in 2004.
