Friday Blogaround

Come wind, come rain, I’m still going to take a look around to see what else is going on.

Note the two additions to the Florida blogroll: hidden city and interstate4jamming. It’s nice to see more writing from down here – it helps dispel the rumors that Floridians are illiterate. We have trouble voting, yes…but we’ve got some pretty good writers down here.

Anyway, while it’s still peaceful and calm here:

  • All Facts and Opinions on the Episcopalians and their schism over gays.
  • And Then… on Kerry’s senate record.
  • archy on Kerry last night.
  • BlogAmy on RNC nutsery.
  • bloggg gets crabby.
  • Chris has a guilty secret.
  • Collective Sigh on has fun with Bush’s thin skin and Hurricane Frances.
  • corrente crunches the numbers on Bush’s speech.
  • NTodd gets all squooshy over Battlestar Galactica.
  • Echidne of the Snakes sums it all up.
  • The Fulcrum on one of our allies in the war on terror.
  • The Gamer’s Nook on the latest outing.
  • The Gotham City 13 is in the home of the fabled chicken wing.
  • Happy Furry has a campaign slogan contest. Enter early and often.
  • Iddybud on the RNC.
  • The Invisible Library has a guest essayist.
  • Kick the Leftist on funny money.
  • Left is Right has a bunch of fun diversions.
  • Make Me a Commentator!!! has fun with Cheney.
  • MercuryX23 buys a house.
  • Musings musings busts Bush on another whopper.
  • Pen-Elayne has some recommendations for commentary on the RNC – worth checking out.
  • Respectful of Otters is off to another and definitely much more fun convention.
  • Rick makes an impression on a Republican (no, not with a blackjack…)
  • Rook’s Rant on the famous picture of the kid in the hat that looks like something you’d see in an ad on a porn site.
  • Rubber Hose hits the road.
  • SoonerThought on friendly neighbors in Oklahoma.
  • Speedkill on fish, spiders, and political prisoners.
  • Steve Gilliard on the future.
  • Trish Wilson on product placement in the movies.
  • WTF Is It Now?? wraps up the RNC, too.
  • The Yellow Doggerel Democrat follows a faint signal from space. Could it be?
  • And don’t forget to keep up with the Florida bloggers and news media as we watch Hurricane Frances. Stay tuned.
