Taking A Walk

One of the joys of living here is that when the weather breaks away from the heat and humidity (and hurricanes), I usually take a walk during my lunch hour. Today I inaugurated my lunchtime walk and strolled half-way across the Venetian Causeway that crosses Biscayne Bay. The smell of salt water, the cry of gulls, and the clear air made it a real treat and relief from the fluorescent lighting and stale air-conditioning in my office. And it’s such a simple pleasure, too.
