I sat in the new Mustang at the South Florida International Auto Show. I had to wait my turn, and I couldn’t adjust the seat to get it where I want it, but now that I’ve seen it in the flesh, so to speak, I can say that it is a winner. It’s got style, it’s got grace, and I’ll bet they’ll sell a million like they did with the first models back in 1964.
And no, I’m not going to buy one. First, I already have a sweet ride in my 1995 Mustang GT convertible. Second, my future classic 1988 Pontiac 6000 LE Safari went in for major surgery yesterday (new rack-and-pinion and brakes). Third, I have no place to keep another car. But I am going to drive one. Soon.
