Dolphins Halt Practice; Call FBI

[AP, Nov 18, Davie, FL] Miami Dolphins football practice was delayed this morning by nearly two hours after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Interim Head Coach Jim Bates immediately suspended practice while Broward County police and federal investigators were called in to investigate.

After a preliminary analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line. Practice was resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.

Thanks, Ira.
