Today is a double-good Friday. It’s the last day of classes and the beginning of winter break, and it’s also an early payday since very few people – including me – will be at work next Friday to collect it.

The halls here are busy with people bringing in food and goodies for parties today – I nearly got run down by the 17lb. turkey (aka “Birdzilla”) for our lunchtime get-together. So the holidays have really begun!
