Buddy Dryden Hobbes – 1992-2005

A good friend sent me this today to mark the passing of his Cairn terrier.

Buddy Dryden Hobbes
January 18, 1992 – May 26, 2005
“He never met a leg he didn’t like.”

Buddy “Bud” Dryden Hobbes, 13, died peacefully on Thursday, May 26, 2005. Son of Jeano’s Casanova Gabe and Timberline Sara, “Bud Dry” was born on January 18, 1992. He lived in Kansas City his whole life, enjoying the lawns of Brookside, Roanoke and Raytown as well as the sidewalks of Union Hill. He studied sitting, laying and staying under the tutelage of Dr. Wayne Hunthausen at Westwood Animal Hospital. Bud was not a working dog; rather, he enjoyed a life of leisurely licking. One of his favorite trips was to the Lake of the Ozarks, where he roamed the docks, chased the ducks, and barked at the stars.

Bud, the stars are yours.

Peace to you, Buddy, and hugs to you, Derek, in your time of loss.
