Good Bye, IE

I don’t normally do things like boycotts of products unless they really piss me off personally. Microsoft’s whole flip-flop on the gay-rights in the State of Washington got me cheesed, but not enough to go out and buy an Apple. I plan to dump my shares of Microsoft stock when I reconfigure my meager portfolio sometime in the next couple of weeks. But when Internet Explorer started screwing around with my blog, that was the last straw. So I downloaded Firefox tonight and…ta da…this is my first post using it. So far so good. It’s going to take a little getting used to, as will shifting back and forth between Firefox at home and IE at work (they don’t trust us to download software). But hey — life’s too short not to live it up a little.

Man, I need to get a life.
