Strange Sounds

The National Park Service noted a strange occurance last Thursday night after President Bush spoke to the nation about his plans to restore the Gulf Coast; to spend billions of federal dollars to rebuild New Orleans, provide housing for the displaced, find jobs for the unemployed, and do whatever is necessary to eliminate the vestiges of racism in the process.

Security monitors at both Hyde Park, New York, and Stonewall, Texas, reported hearing what sounded like faint laughter tinged with irony coming from within these sites.
