Hurricane Wilma Update

This hurricane is acting like it’s working for the Fitzgerald investigation; no one seems to know where it’s going to go and what it’s going to do.

Here’s the 5 a.m. tracking map.

The strike probability chart shows that as of this morning, there’s a 5% chance that Wilma will come within 65 nautical miles of Miami between now and 1:00 a.m. on Sunday. It now looks like the storm won’t make it to Florida until Monday.

The Keys are being evacuated in a staggered mode; tourists and visitors being asked to leave yesterday, those in mobile homes or with special needs this morning, and the rest later. (The denizens of some bars in Key West are doing their own staggering…)
