Missed It Again

The Nobel Prize for Literature:

British novelist Doris Lessing won the 2007 Nobel Prize for literature, the Swedish Academy said on Thursday.

The academy, which decides on the prestigious 10 million Swedish ($1.54 million) award, called the 87-year-old Lessing an “epicist of the female experience, who with scepticism, fire and visionary power has subjected a divided civilisation to scrutiny”.

Congratulations, Ms. Lessing.

As for me, well, there’s always next year. And the year after that…
