The other day Eric Friesen, the host of Studio Sparks on CBC Radio 2, played a new recording of the New World Symphony by Dvorak. That’s one of my favorite pieces, and I never get tired of hearing it; I associate it with living in the mountains of Colorado in the summer and it brings back fond memories of those times. I feel the same way about Claire de Lune by Debussy (or, as Victor Borge called it, “Clear the Saloon”).
So, what piece of music could you listen to over and over again?
It doesn’t have to be a classical piece; it could be anything that you never tire of hearing.
