Apparently yesterday’s adventures into international on-line chatting with Norton accomplished something because when I got home from work, I was able to re-subscribe without having to chat with “Arun” and “Rizwan.”

But wow…even with this faster computer and larger hard drive, it still took almost an hour and three re-boots, including one this morning, before everything was status quo ante; my subscription is good until November 2008.

At which point I will seriously consider getting rid of this monster program and finding something more efficient and less Orwellian.
