Super Amazing Tuesday

I’ll have more comments in the morning, but so far it looks like Barack Obama is doing better than expected.

The other interesting news of the day is that the righties are forming their circular firing squad: James Dobson says he will never vote for John McCain, and Rush Limbaugh is endorsing Mitt Romney and defending Senators Clinton and Obama’s stands on Iraq. And this is one group where “celebrity” endorsements matter.

Another point that TPM noticed that Chris Matthews actually got right: John McCain is winning in states that are usually won by Democrats: Delaware, Connecticut, Illinois, New Jersey and New York. What does that tell you? McCain is taking the Democratic base?

For those of you still up and reading, feel free to tell me how things are going in your part of the country if you had a caucus or a primary.
