Good for Her

Chelsea Clinton shows that at least someone in that family knows how to come up with a short and to-the-point answer to a question.

Chelsea Clinton had a quick retort Tuesday when asked whether her mother’s credibility had been hurt during the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

“Wow, you’re the first person actually that’s ever asked me that question in the, I don’t know maybe, 70 college campuses I’ve now been to, and I do not think that is any of your business,” Clinton said during a campaign visit for her mother, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.

I think it was Ann Landers or Dear Abby who once said that the best way to deal with someone who asks a personal question is to look the person straight in the eye and say, “Gosh, I don’t know how to answer a question like that because no one has ever been rude enough to ask it.”
