Last month’s prices seem like a bargain today.
On the way in to work this morning, my usual Mobil station was $3.77. That’s up 38 cents since April 7. Down the block at the Citgo it was $3.89, and a block later it was $3.75 at Shell. That’s where I stopped and put in a little more than nine gallons. (PS: my mileage this week was a little better than 18 mpg; not bad for all city driving in a 20-year-old station wagon with the A/C running.)
I can’t wait to see what gas is selling for in Los Angeles later this week.
