From the Sun-Sentinel:
You’ve heard of money burning a hole in someone’s pocket. This money exploded in some guy’s pants.
An hour after knocking over a Pompano Beach bank, a thief strolled into a Fort Lauderdale pawnshop with his prize — an envelope holding roughly $1,500 in stolen cash. Little did he know the cash was rigged with a dye pack.
It blew up when he entered Cash America Pawn, 1010 W. Sunrise Blvd., sending him scurrying for the exit followed by a cloud of red haze.
The red-stained bandit remains at large.
Is that a dye-pack in your pants or are you just glad to see me?
