Tony Snow, former White House press secretary, has died.
Snow, who had been undergoing chemotherapy treatments for a recurrence of [colon cancer], left his White House job September 14, 2007, and joined CNN in April as a conservative commentator.
In parting comments to reporters at his final White House news conference, he said, “I feel great.”
He also called the job “the most fun I’ve ever had.”
I may have disagreed with him on a lot of things, but I enjoyed his sense of humor and the way he didn’t take himself too seriously. He was one of the few intentionally humorous people in the Bush White House.
My thoughts are with his family.
