My flight to Chicago was uneventful except for the part at the end where we taxied up to the jet bridge at O’Hare and … they couldn’t get it to operate. The ground crew got us moved to another gate, and we walked off the plane an hour late. However, while we were stuck waiting for the maintenance people to decide what to do, the baggage handlers unloaded the luggage, so instead of passengers waiting at the carousel for bags, the bags were waiting for the passengers.
The weather here in Toledo is very nice — clear and mild. That’s a bit of a contrast of what’s in store for the folks in South Florida. Here’s hoping that it stays away from land for as long as possible.
