I got my home laptop back from HP yesterday, and I spent most of last night to early this morning reinstalling software and trying — unsuccessfully — to restore the backed-up files; they don’t seem to want to go back into their folders and sub-folders on the new hard drive. But I am working on a solution and hope to have everything back where it belongs by the end of the day.

I’m also hanging around the house this morning waiting for the air conditioner repair guy to show up and figure out why I can’t get this place any cooler than 85 during the day.

Meanwhile, I’m catching up on some other stuff at home, so blogging will be a little light until I get things squared away.
