I am the last person in the world to come to when the discussion turns to the finer points of what they used to call “high finance,” but when I see stories like this about the imminent collapse of a major financial institution and the general overall shakiness of the American economy, I tend to think that’s more important than Sarah Palin’s daughter’s boyfriend’s Facebook page.
