Get out the vote.
Do you or have you ever worked for a political campaign?
Yes, several times. My first was in 1968 — 40 years ago — when I helped canvass in Toledo for the Humphrey-Muskie ticket. Then in 1970, when I was in high school, I volunteered for the John Gilligan for Governor campaign in Ohio, and I was in the campaign headquarters hotel in Cincinnati on Election Night. (I met John Glenn, too.) In 2004 I went door-to-door in Miami for John Kerry.
Footnote: John Gilligan is the father of Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius.
