All this talk about working with Congress and such on the financial bailout package sounds like bipartisanship and cooperation to address the needs of the people and the economy, right? Everyone pull together and work together, right? Yeah, right, except for just one little thing:
Decisions by the Secretary [Henry Paulson] pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.
Just so long as we’re clear on that, everything should go smoothly, right?
