Right On Time

The National Weather Service declares the rainy season in Florida is over.

That means hot, humid days and afternoon thunderstorms should give way to crisp, pleasant, drier weather from now through May.

A cold front is expected to move over the area by this weekend, pulling temperatures into the upper 60s, weather service meteorologist Andy Tingler said.

Until then, expect daytime highs in the mid- to upper 80s and nightly lows in the lower 70s the rest of this week, he said.

I can live with that.
