Gas Prices

It’s been a while since I posted about this, but it’s worth noting that gas prices have taken a real tumble since July when I was paying $4.07. Yesterday I filled up for $2.39 at the same station, and oil prices have fallen below $59 a barrel. Some places around the country are paying below $2 a gallon.

But it seems that once bitten, twice shy. People are still taking it easy on the driving, and the reason crude oil prices are falling is because a lot of people still can’t afford to fill up their tanks unless they’re out trying to find a job. And it’s making life rough for the automakers.

What’s gas going for in your part of the country/world? And have you changed your driving habits since the days of $4 a gallon?
