When was your last flat tire? How did you handle it?
I had one the weekend before Thanksgiving, but fortunately it was a slow leak and I was able to keep air in it until I got to the Firestone store where they fixed it for free; I had bought the tires there. The last real blow-out was six years ago on the worst place — the Palmetto Expressway — at the worst time — evening rush hour. After fifteen years and over 230,000 miles, I had never used the jack in the Pontiac before, so I got a quick lesson in how to use it. Fortunately there was still some air in the doughnut spare and I got to the Firestone store and replaced all the tires at once.
