Question of the Day

All the world’s a stage…

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice just played piano for the Queen of England*. When was your last musical/theatrical performance (with you on stage)?

That would be in the role of Lord Evelyn Oakleigh in a community theatre production of Anything Goes in the summer of 1995 in Harbor Springs, Michigan.

*That reminds me of a funny story told by the late Bob Moulton, my beloved professor of dance and choreography at the University of Minnesota. In an interview he was asked, “Is it true you once danced for the Queen of England?” Without missing a beat he replied, “Yes, and he hated every minute of it.”
