Tweaks Follow-Up II

We — my brother, actually — has made progress in working with the folks at JS-Kit, and now the commenting system seems to be working better than it used to. All 16,000+ comments from the previous template have been imported, so if you wrote a comment on a posting back before January 1, 2009, it should be there. They have also added an editing feature on my end so if you make a typo and want to have me correct it, let me know and I’ll take care of it. (Of course, if you’re a troll, I can always “edit” your comment to say whatever the hell I want it to. But I would never do that. Much.) JS-Kit says they’re working on added a Preview feature so that you can see your tyops before you click “Submit.”

As for the problems with the flaky log-in (I’m looking at you, Steve Bates), I am hoping that they will get that taken care of, too. I had that problem today and was about to launch into a rant until I remembered that I had cleared my browser cache a few days ago and hadn’t written a comment since. D’oh.

Onward…
