Question of the Day

Surfing time is here…

Microsoft has launched Internet Explorer 8. Yip yah. I will wait until they get rid of the inevitable bugs that they didn’t discover during beta, and even then I will probably wait until I’m forced to take it. Which brings me to ask…

What internet browser(s) do you use? Is there any particular reason you chose it over something else?

I use FireFox as the default on my home laptop and as secondary on my work computers — both the PC and laptop. Firefox is faster, it has spell-check, and it has nice add-ons like Foxmarks, which let me synchronize my bookmarks between machines, and Add-Blocker Plus, which blocks most if not all the pop-up and “floater” ads. I have IE7 as the defaults at the office because of some work applications, and as secondary at home. I haven’t tried any others, like Safari, Chrome, or Opera.
