I know I’ve told this story before, but…. In 1966 we got a brand-new 1967 Ford Country Squire with an 8-track. One of the first tapes my mom bought was Take Five, and it will ever be burned into my memory of riding around in that big wagon with this tape on the stereo. In keeping with the tradition, when I bought the Pontiac in 1989, the first cassette I bought for it was Take Five. I even got that tape autographed by Mr. Brubeck when he was in Petoskey one summer for a concert. And of course I have it on CD in the Mustang.
