Robert Pear and David M. Herszenhorn at the New York Times put together a primer on the details of healthcare reform as being proposed by President Obama and the Democrats. It does a very good job of explaining the main points in the bills being proposed and the ones that have generated most of the exaggerations, misinformation, and downright lies about that the plan(s) contain.
Go read it. You might learn something. Then, more importantly, pass it on to your crazy uncle in Mississippi who thinks the government is going to get its filthy hands on his Medicare.
