As if Sarah Palin’s spectral literary effort wasn’t enough, here’s another sign that the publishing industry is making its way towards the event horizon of the black hole of WTF: somebody is paying Jonah Goldberg millions of dollars to write a book called The Tyranny of Cliches.
If it’s anything like his last lightweight tome, Liberal Fascism (which I started to read and then took Dorothy Parker‘s advice to heart), it will be a collection of disconnected rants strung together like a popcorn strand and coming to the conclusion that Barack Obama is a fraud and only got to be president because his mother had connections in the publishing business. (Oh, wait….)
