One of the things I’m going to do while I have some time is clean up my blogroll. When we went to the new template a year ago, we dropped the BlogRoll mechanism because it had been hacked and was still in the throes of recovery, and it also wouldn’t work very well with the new design. Since then, I’ve made a few additions to it, but it really has gotten out of date with a lot of blogs that have dried up or moved their URL’s.
That said, I’m always interested in finding new sites that might be of interest, so if you have any suggestions, let me know in the comments and I’ll give them a look.
Update: All done; the blogroll has been cleaned, dusted, polished, and spiffed up for 2010. Sites that came back as “No site found at this address” that didn’t have a forwarding address were deleted, as were those sites that hadn’t posted in over a year or said quite plainly, “Closed.”
I also updated a few sites and added some, including Classical South Florida, the site for the year-old public radio station here in Miami. It is basically a repeater for Minnesota Public Radio’s classical channel, but hey, considering that we lost WTMI in 2001 to “dance” music (and is now on its gazillionth format since), I’m glad to have anything in that vein on the air here. I also think it must be fun for the DJ’s to have to read the weather forecasts for South Florida when they’re in Minneapolis in the dead of winter.
As I said, if you have a site you think is worth listing here, let me know and I will give it a look.
